WREXHAM FANS IDENTIFIED AND BANNED
TUST welcomes the swift action taken by Wrexham AFC, Torquay United and the North Wales Police in identifying those responsible for the disgraceful crowd misconduct incident towards the end of last Saturday’s National League fixture between Wrexham AFC and Torquay United at the Racecourse Ground.
Twelve banning letters have been issued to those individuals identified with a number of season tickets revoked. And enquiries are continuing to identify all supporters involved.
Thankfully those Gulls’ fans who were hit by coins, bottles and a lighter are recovering from their injuries in what was a frightening ordeal.
TUST would like to thank the Wrexham Supporters’ Trust chairman and other Wrexham fans for contacting us with their messages of regret for these incidents and offering their support.

May I offer my apologies for the behaviour of some of our fans on Saturday. It was truly disgusting behaviour and the type I have not seen since the 1980s when Chester City were ripping our seats up! My respect goes to all Torquay fans for doing what we, the majority, are doing, which is supporting our local club! I hope the incident will not put your fans off from returning to the Racecourse again. It is so nice to see away fans in numbers again, especially from a fair distance away. Please feel free to share this with your supporters. Good luck with the remainder of your campaign this season!
