Firstly, I would like to wish Gary Owers and his family a happy, healthy and successful future, in whichever role he chooses to pursue.
I feel that most of us agree, from talking regularly to many supporters, that the owner and his advisors have taken the right decision. We, the Torquay United Supporters' Trust, would like to welcome Gary Johnson to Torquay United.
We look forward to supporting him, in his remit to turn things around on the pitch and provide the performances that our passionate and loyal supporters deserve. He certainly brings with him the credentials and experience to give us hope that he can do so.
We are looking forward to tomorrow's match at Hungerford,and to supporting our new
manager and our team.
