To this point, TUST has worked on the very simple membership structure of £2 per month or £24 per annum. This continues to be the cost of membership moving forward. However, we have been approached on more than one occasion to allow prospective new members and existing members to increase their contributions. We are now pleased to provide further payment options as outlined below. At the current time it should be made clear that a £5 pm contribution will reflect your £2 pm membership cost and a £3 additional donation. For £10 it will be naturally £2 pm membership cost and an £8 additional donation.
Our marketing team are looking at forging links with various organisations as we move forward and therefore it is our hope to start to provide additional benefits to TUST members who opt for either the Classic or Elite membership levels. In addition we are to introduce the concept of a Corporate Membership category as we look to involve the local business community in becoming members of TUST and at the same time provide benefits to TUST members and the club.

"You can rest assured the management of TUST’s financial resources is kept under close scrutiny at all times and day to day expenses are only incurred where necessary. Examples of necessary expenses each year include Indemnity Insurance Cover,
Membership Fees of organisations such as Supporters Direct and other legal / professional fees.
From time to time there will be a need to fund a specific project or piece of work. Examples of this include marketing of events (leaflet production), Event / Venue hire i.e. for AGM’s / SGM’s or more detailed projects aimed at ensuring the long term sustainability and governance of Torquay United Football Club.
However, the vast majority of your membership fees are centered on building a fund for the future to be used in pursuance of our long term goals. This fund could be called upon at any time and we are focused on increasing this as we have been successful in doing over the last few years to a significant current value. That said, we regard the capital as a “starting” fund in order to assist us in helping to secure further access to capital in the future should the need arise. We are not “fundraising” as such at present. Indeed, our focus is very much more on increasing member numbers rather than the capital we have in the bank. But the two go hand in hand to a certain extent.
